So this weekend Jack and I had the luxury of going out to dinner....just us! Grandma Bev and Nonno watched little Brooke while we went out and had dinner in Oakland at Wood Tavern - yum! Since we are first time parents, we ran thru our whole routine with Brooke's grandparents...only to realize that Brooke would of course be fine in their very capable hands. She talked herself to sleep and slept thru the night as always. Mom and Dad really appreciated our night on the town and had the most fabulous dinner and drinks.
We also set up Brooke's exer-saucer and she is hooked! She is able to grab the toys and press buttons to make all kinds of fun sounds and noises. She can even use her little legs to turn herself in it. I think this toy will keep her entertained for a while!
