Here is last year's father's day picture... what a difference a year makes.
Last year...Jack was about 4 weeks into fatherhood...
And now, he's a pro!
Anyone who knows me well enough, also knows that I despise broccoli. Yes, I know all of it's merits and that it's a "super food" etc...but I literally gag when I smell it cooking. Brooke on the other hand...loves it. So in a freaky friday ...one time only event....Brooke fed ME some Broccoli. I scrunched up my face after eating it, in case you wondered. Jack took about 8 more pictures of this historic event.
Brooke gave her dad a super cool back-pack so that they can see the world together. We took a quick walk to Stern Grove.
This is a sweet action shot...Auntie Joan is literally saving Brooke's entire jaw in this picture! Thanks Auntie! Meanwhile, I'm just standing there like an idiot with my camera. Brooke also put two magnets in her mouth this weekend while I was standing right there. I should really get more sleep.
And we ended the day (uh...what happened to the sun?) with all the kids and all the dads. Woohoo! Can't wait til next year!
Saturday we went into SF to enjoy the sun at the North Beach Festival!
Friday night, the Cecchin's came over for EBHH. Here is Jack trying to get artistic with Marco. This shot is called: "Wine, glass, baby". Very controvesial.
Marco approves of our dinner and thinks that Jack and his crazy photography are hysterical.
Ok, this picture is adorable...except that it came out with red eye, which Jack fixed...but somehow ended up making Sarah have green lips. It looks like lettuce though...which makes me laugh just a little. Still...super cute picture.
