What a fun St. Patty's Day we had! We started off the day in our matching green outfits. Brooke was awake for about 5 minutes when we took this. I had just changed her out of her pj's, into a new diaper and into this green ensemble. Brooke does not like clothes that she isn't SUPER familiar with. So we shed some tears (as in this picture), but then we toss our boppy back in the crib and we are ready to roll.
She's ready for school. Doesn't she look like a big girl?
For the second act of the day, Jack and I picked up Brooke and Marco from daycare and headed over to Jeff & Sarah's who were hosting a St Patty's Day Feast!

Marco literally runs to Jack whenever he picks up Brooke. Today was no exception. But he probably was wondering why he was actually getting in the car with Jack and what's up with the pink shoulder straps?

The kids got along famously. And really, who cares if Jack isn't paying attention while driving?Totally safe. Let us know if you want us to pick up your kid next time.

And Brooke was so excited to finally meet Olive Romios. Brooke gave Olive a little rock in her car seat and told her that they are going to have tons of girl secrets that Marco and Nikos will never know about. Brooke has already penciled in a tentative shopping spree with Olive for back-to-school 2023 (when Brooke will be 16)!

How has this happened? This is what it's like when just a few couples get together now. Reese, Marco, Nikos, Olive, Ryan, Avery and Brooke. Thanks Cecchin's for another great St. Patty's Day. And I totally 2nd the motion to take the entire day off next year. See you bright and early at a bar near you.

Hey if he was looking at the road, we would've said he was neglecting the kids! We're never happy! I love you sooooo much.
