Oh to be a Marin Mom

We took advantage of the AWESOME weather today by meeting the Farrell's at the Bay Area Discovery Museum in Sausalito. This view pretty much sums up how perfect this location is! And I am doing my best here to look the part: Cute kid -check, Cute outfit on kid and mom - check, obligatory over sized sunglasses - check, obligatory over sized purse - check. This is a lot of work.

This was our first visit, and this place whoops Habitot's butt. However, if it's raining...I'm probably not down for this. TotLand was a big hit with this water feature. Shocker.
Brooke and Jack splash themselves and innocent by-standers with their fake fish. Jack even holds it like a deadly weapon.
We moved indoors to check out the next best thing to a water park....a water-bed. I have to admit that this totally reminds me of being a kid in the late 70's, when people actually had water beds. When I was 4 I had a friend named Summer  and she had one and I was soooo jealous. Do they even make water beds anymore?  Brooke thought it was pretty funny trying to stand up and walk on it.
On to the next outdoor activity, the giant ship-yard/playground. Here's Brooke driving the boat.
Putting in her time, Brooke does some work in the yard. San Quentin is close by you know.

Jack demonstrates how cool it is to lift up all of the washers and watch them slide down the pole and make tons of noise along the way. I think he had 3 going at once.
I think Madison was too cool for this thing, but here's the rest of them going to town. I didn't actually capture Madison in any shots - she is too fast!
The family shot with the GG Bridge before we head out. It was so gorgeous there and I am definitely getting a family pass. Of course, I do realize that it won't be 75 degrees next time we go -but I'm still down. Brooke is too!  Thanks Farrell's for our first tour - we are hooked.
