Sleeping Alone

Brooke has hit some big milestones recently. For one, she has shed the sleep-sack. If you are not familiar with them, they are basically blankets that zip on your kid so that their blanket never falls off of them. We have relied on the sleep-sack, believed in the sleep-sack,  trusted our 11 hours of Brooke sleeping to the sleep-sack. So maybe this was more of a milestone for Jack and I, because I think we had more second thoughts about just going straight blanket than Brooke did. Here is a cute picture of her spooning her baby while sleeping under said blanket.

This has impacted story time too. She used to be zipped up, so she couldn't get up an walk around...so now story time is semi-mobile. She'll get up and walk around her room, but I just keep reading and she always finds her way back to me. Brooke is also peeing on the potty pretty consistently. I will spare you the pictures...but needless to say...it's a BIG deal around here!

Here's a picture from Mom's Day. We had a really great weekend - we went to Sacramento and saw my mom/Grandma Sue on Saturday. Then on Sunday - Jack gave me the best gift....the morning off! I went on an 8 mile run...it was the bomb. Then in the afternoon we went to Marin for a BBQ. Such a fun time with the cousins.
