Little Farm

This past weekend we decided to do some exploring in our own backyard. We went to Tilden Park's Little Farm. It's totally free - all you need to do is bring your own celery to feed the animals..and you are set! It's VERY clean and the animals are ready and willing to take your food!
Here is Brooke feeding the goats. I think the goats were the only animals there that I thought might eat her hand. Brooke was not phased.
You can't tell, but Jack is trying to hold Brooke's hand  back. She is so eager to give this cow her celery. I love that she is not afraid of this 1200lb animal. And you thought she was a genius.
We were big on the cows. The pigs did not hold a ton of interest for Brooke. Nor did the little bunny that they had out of it's cage for a quick petting fest. Other kids lined up - but Brooke had other fish to fry, er, cows to feed.
I knew this day would come. Brooke got tongue action.
Brooke cruises past the geese and the pigs. Snubbing them as lesser animals.
The Little Farm has a picnic area and a sweet playground. Brooke has taken to swinging on the slides before she goes down. This usually coincides with Jack and I begging her to let go and take her turn because there is now a line forming.
Some fun action shots of Brooke running from me to Jack.

After we came home, we took a nap and then woke up for a little picnic out on our deck.
