Getting into The Spirit

This weekend we started getting into the x-mas season by going out and getting our tree. As you can see from the shot below...we are surrounded by concrete and not a forest. Home Depot is where Christmas Trees come from as far as Brooke knows. Here she is, wearing a MM hand me down hat for all of 5 minutes.

That afternoon, we headed to a Gingerbread House decorating party at Alexis'. In addition to the candy overload - Brooke and Alexis also found time to play princess. They both took turns crowning each other and then announcing "You look BEAUTIFUL" at the top of their lungs.

Here is Brooke's finished house. She won the prize for the most candy actually on her house. I would say it was about equal to what went into her mouth. Although, she was not one of the kids later discovered to be licking the houses. Eeewww.
