Of course this weekend we left our camera at home for what was an amazing photo op! We took Brooke to Habitot - a children's museum where all of the exhibits are meant to be touched and jumped on and everything in between. I know this is an E Bay favorite even for the SF moms! Brooke was in heaven! She went absolutely bizerk in there for a solid 2 hours. The water exhibit was a big hit...and there was a collective "GASP" from all of the parents when Brooke took an entire water pitcher and dumped it over her head. This did not deter her at all in case you were wondering.
We even attempted painting, but I think Jack ended up with more paint on him than the actual wall that she was supposed to be painting. She is quite the Picasso nonetheless. However, her true calling might be an Astronaut. They had a little space shuttle cockpit that kids could climb into and it was full of key boards. A 14 month olds dream come true! Brooke pounded away on those things for a solid 45 minutes - only occasionally stopping to take a call on the telephone's inside. She was talking to mission control of course. She also had to tell the pilot how to steer and took a hold of the wheel as well.
Such a great weekend and no photos to show for it. But I have a feeling we will be going back soon.
