The 4th

We had a great 4th of July weekend (sorry this is a little late) and took zero pictures of fireworks or any adults. We started off on Friday with a trip to the Oakland Zoo with the Romios Family. This was the final day of my stay-cation and I concluded it like I started it...at the zoo. This time, I bought a family pass (so it should not surprise you when you see like   80 more trips to the zoo this summer on the blog).

Here is a shot of Brooke showing Nikos that she loves him THIS MUCH! He seems thrilled. Wonder where he gets that?

It's really great to see Brooke and Nikos start to actually play together (really - they do).

On the 4th we hosted a small BBQ and Brooke agreed to let me put her hair in pigtails. SO CUTE! Her little face looks so crushed in this picture....but still..the pigtails are AWESOME!

Still - their expressions are priceless. Nikos is clearly saying to Olive "I am so not holding you up if you slip".
