Elvis Has Left the Building

Last night we celebrated my mom's retirement at a super swanky party held at one of my brother's venues in downtown Sac called Mix Downtown. We had our own VIP section on the roof deck and the weather was awesome! Here's the scene before the party started.

This was also Brooke's first bar. High class all the way.

There were about 40 people there from my mom's career and people got up and said some really amazing things about her. It was such a great night and we are so excited for her next adventures. I have also made a mental note to remember to go out in style like my mom. No old school banquet hall for me!

My mom turned on her out of office message and rather than stating that she retired etc. She just wrote "Elvis Has Left the Building". Nice.
