We got in a full two-days of Christmas this year. The Bassett clan came to Oakland for brunch on the 24th and then we partied the night away at Christmas Eve in Marin. I just have this one shot from Christmas Eve where we attempted to get all the kids in one shot. We are missing 3 of them even still in this picture. Brooke does not like the paparazzi at all.
But earlier that day she was in heaven playing with all of her new toys. Her she is with her big Cousin playing the drum that Grandma Sue got for her. This thing also has a million other instruments inside of it, so all of her friends can play together and form a band. They'll be smoking in the garage in no time.
Brooke has perfected her "cheeeese" face. This is a close-up of it.
And here it is again with my family lounging on the sofa. My mom is kind of doing it too - ha!
Here is Brooke rocking out....this toy will probably drive me to drink, or drink more anyway. But she LOVES IT!
And Santa also brought Brooke Elmo "live". He is already teaching her how to sneeze with flair. This Elmo also falls over a lot. I'm hoping she doesn't pick that up as well.
