Mommy, where did the sun go?

Daycare is closed for the week, so I am staying home and having a stay-cation with Brooke! Today we headed into The City to check out the SF Zoo with Gina, Makenzie and Sadie. So we left the warm sun in Oakland and headed into the fog at the zoo. Brooke could not wait to get this show on the road.

Gina was our tour guide since they are regular SF Zoo goers. Here are the 3 girls tucked neatly into a cave. Love that Sadie has a purse.

Here is Brooke holding a snake! Hissss. I think Gina has also done this picture before because she knew exactly how to hide herself while holding Sadie up. Sneaky Gina.

The petting zoo was a big hit for Brooke and a bit scary for me. I kept thinking that these animals were all loose and that at any moment..they could attack us! I mean, these things have horns...which Brooke was grabbing with her hands...uh not a good idea. 

See the horn. See the brush. Does this not freak anyone else out? I'm pretty sure if you had an audio tape of our time in the petting zoo, you would just hear my voice repeating "Oh my God, Oh my God. Brooke..Oh God".
